This private island property transports you to an easier time, with its dirt roads, empty beaches and quiet natural beauty. Hat Island has a beautiful 9 hole golf course surrounded by towering cedars. There is a flat camping space for outings near the marina, with a large picnic shelter, bathrooms with hot water/showers, a bocce ball court, fire pit, and a volleyball sand pit. There is a tennis/basketball court further up the hill. The island maintains a ferry to Everett as well as a transit bus that drops off and picks up near ferry times. The island has its own desalinization plant and volunteer fire department. This property, 2V Gedney Way, is on the quiet end of the island, surrounded by other acre lots. This means that even with future development, your dream build will always have a quiet forest appeal and not turn into a crowded neighborhood. Electricity and water are in the street. This lot has passed a septic feasibility study. If you are a liveaboard, you’ll find the moorage fees very appealing. The island is wonderful for boating and paddling adventures as well as whale watching.
