Connected: Full-time agent in the local real estate community with a vast network of buyers and sellers.

Knowledgeable: Expert area knowledge. Local resident realtor in NW WA covering, King, Pierce, Thurston, Mason, Lewis, Kitsap and surrounding areas.

Getting Started

The first time we meet, we will discuss what your selling objectives are. This is a good time to ask questions, and I will give you an idea of what to expect during the selling process. We will discuss preliminary ideas for pricing and house preparations. I will provide you with a complete Comparative Marketing Analysis (CMA) for your property. You can request an instant home value for your WA property or contact me to schedule a time to view your home and give a more detailed opinion of value.

You're ready to Sell Your Home

Once you decide you are ready, I will review and sign a standard Listing Agreement. I will also complete all of the mandatory disclosure forms. I will arrange for any necessary listing photos, virtual tour / drone footage, key box, yard sign and directional arrows from major arterial roads.

Preparing Home/Property

Before putting your home on the market, I want to ensure it is most attractive to potential buyers. Knowing how to showcase and accentuate the best features of your home, without incurring unnecessary expense, is at the core of what I do. I will provide you with a detailed Home Preparation Consultation and a Selling Tips Sheet. As we walk through your property, we will discuss minor repairs, curb appeal tips, staging, and making your property feel welcoming to potential buyers. If staging is necessary, I will share some options based on your property.

Determining List Price

Pricing your home competitively, at the start, will create more activity among brokers and buyers and lead to a more successful sale.

Establishing the value and list price for your property involves researching and comparing similar properties and weighing factors including location, condition, amenities, and market conditions. We will arrive at a competitive price aimed at generating strong buyer activity.

Marketing Your Home

Understanding where buyers come from allows me to market your property competitively. Creating excitement in the marketplace through consistent and aggressive marketing efforts and integrating online and offline efforts is key to a successful sale. My maximum exposure marketing plan includes Comprehensive Internet marketing through our site, Realtor.com, Zillow.com, Trulia.com, Yahoo.com, facebook.com, paid marketing ads, sphere of influence, past and present clients, reverse prospecting on our MLS and more.

Also, public open houses & brokers tours, yard signage, and property feature sheet; real estate agent network; and customized property marketing. I will remain in constant communication with you and give you progress reports on showings and all activity.

Processing the Sale & Closing

The complexities of processing transactional documents will be made very easy for you through my continuous guidance and communication. I will review all offers and terms of each offer with you and negotiate on your behalf so that you obtain the highest possible price for your home while limiting your exposure and protecting your bests interests both legally and financially.

Once your home is in escrow, I will prepare all seller required disclosures and reports, attend appraisal with recent comparable to support your purchase price, and make sure all contingencies and repair requests are removed in a timely manner per the contract. Communication between us is imperative and I can assure you that you will be informed every step of the way.

Close of Escrow

Congratulations, you have now sold your home! I will provide you with helpful moving hints and also be there to answer any questions. I am always available to help you should a question arise after the close of escrow and I want to ensure that you are 100% satisfied.

Classic North Tacoma charm, a location that’s hard to beat and some of the big-ticket updates already taken care of. This 1925 Craftsman sits on a generous corner lot just blocks from UPS and minutes from the Proctor District, Jefferson Park, 6th Ave and all the neighborhood favorites that make this part of Tacoma so loved. Step inside from the covered front porch to a welcoming living room anchored by a wood-burning fireplace. The flexible 1.5-story layout offers two bedrooms, a full bath and utility on the main floor, with a spacious third bedroom upstairs, perfect for a home office, guest space or a little extra room to spread out. Fresh interior paint, new carpet and new vinyl plank flooring in the kitchen make it move-in ready. Behind the scenes, a new roof, gutters and electrical panel, a clean and secured crawl space, plus a sewer line replaced in 2020 mean several of those not-so-glamorous—but very important—updates are already checked off the list. Outside, the west-facing backyard is ready for afternoon sun, evening gatherings, gardening or simply enjoying the outdoors. Alley access also opens the door to future possibilities, including subdividing and exploring an ADU in place of the existing detached one-car garage. Whether you’re buying your first home, looking to simplify or searching for your next investment, this is a great opportunity to put down roots in one of North Tacoma’s most iconic neighborhoods.

Not everyone needs a big house. Some buyers want a house of their own—and the yard, parking, storage and breathing room that come with it. This 1942 Hillman City bungalow makes that trade especially well, with light rail nearby. The 720-SF one-level plan is simple and efficient, with two real bedrooms, warm, old-growth fir floors beneath your feet, a paneled-and-beamed ceiling overhead, and an easy flow from living room to kitchen and dining. The kitchen is notably well-sized, with generous cabinetry and counter space, while sliding doors open straight to the deck and backyard, so daily life naturally stretches outside. The square footage stops at the walls. The usefulness doesn’t. On the 5,000-SF lot, mature trees frame a garden-like front approach and a broad fenced backyard with open lawn, deck and separate patio zones. Add the attached carport, detached shed, and a separate laundry/utility room with clean, dry, secure storage outside the living area, and the property works harder than its footprint suggests. Fresh paint, professionally cleaned windows and staging give the house a crisp presentation without pretending this 1942 bungalow is new. The home and sewer have both been fully pre-inspected, with reports available after preview. Enjoy the yard as it is, or keep your options open for what the land may allow over time. Either way, the immediate payoff is simple: less house to manage. Still a house of your own.

Straight out of a Cape Cod postcard, this picture-perfect Governors Lane cottage is one of Vashon’s most charming little homes. Tucked into a beloved neighborhood of shingled cottages, wide front porches, apple trees, manicured lawns and easy beach walks, this is truly a rare opportunity to become part of a special island community. At 860 square feet, the home lives much larger thanks to expansive new Trex decks, covered and uncovered outdoor living spaces, and three sets of French doors that open the house to the outdoors. Peek views of the harbor add to the magic, while the level, fully fenced lot offers sunny lawn for games and gardening, charming garden beds and private lounging areas. Inside, fresh paint throughout, original wood floors, a parlor natural gas stove in the living room, butcher block counters and rattan lighting create a warm, collected cottage feel. Two bedrooms, a full bath with tub, and a new washer and dryer make the home as practical as it is charming. It is really all about the lifestyle here. A stone's throw from the south-facing beach, nearby county forest trails and beach parks, and enjoy close proximity to one of only two public boat launches on Vashon. Homes on Governors Lane do not come to market often. This is a moment in time to step into a community, a neighborhood and a truly charmed way of island life.
